Sensory regulatory difficulties in babies -

Sensory Regulation is the ability of the brain to establish a balance between shutting out and letting in sensory stimuli. Each baby has a different threshold, or tolerance for stimulation. This means that while one baby can remain in a calm state for a longer time, another baby may become quickly over stimulated by the same environment. What is just right for one, may be way too much for another.
